Being a first-time parent of eight children wasn’t easy, but it was normal. In fact, some Haymeen mothers had more than twenty in a single litter. Having four hands helped in everyday Haymeen life, especially for those with small children.

On the day of this story, Martha took her children on a walk through the forest near her house as she had done a few times each month. She used these walks to relax, but also to teach her children about the local wildlife.
